Re: xplorer2 beta 3108

the most important addition is in place editing of file properties, see here for all the changes any bugs, comments etc let me know I was excited to hear about the new in-place details editing! Less excited when I tried it out on my *.wtv details. I was only allowed to edit "Attributes." ...

Re: Folder Marker

A quick test shows that it does work with x2, but it requires you to manually refresh x2's display <Ctrl+R> before the icon appears in the shell. It also helps if you restart x2 after you've installed it, else the context menu entry seems a bit wonky. I must be doing SOMETHING very wrong. I...

Folder Marker

I was just trying out Folder Marker Pro (offered today, 12/22/2014, by Bits du Jour). The author claims it works with xplorer2, but I'm having no luck. He says his program will work with any file manager which uses"Windows Explorer core to display folder icons". Can anybody shed any light ...

I meant, like: You are not obliged to follow our discussions after the topic you were initially interested in has been finished. Why are you picking on me?  :crying: You stubbornly seem to be refusing to recognize that I criticized no one for being off topic, that obviously I'm interested since not...

A topic that is done might lead to discussions way beyond its subject. There is no obligation to follow it, you might as well do something more interesting than reading it. Buy you decided that you don't want to do this, so, well, nothing wrong with it, right? IF there is no obligation to follow a ...

Do you expect people in discussion boards to shut up most of the time? Are you talking to me?   No, I don't expect anything, nor am I trying to impose any rules.  I did, however, earn my forum "chops" back in the olden days of Prodigy when monitors were ready to pop out of the shadows and...

none of which belongs here True, but as this thread is basically "finished with"/outdated anyway, it doesn't make too much difference.  And since no one ever reads my wordy-nonsense, no one will notice we've strayed off topic (which, given the title "the future is here" is not a...

In short (I did promise to keep this brief), the notion of "Know Thy Enemy" (for lack of a better phrase) applies to any type of atheist as much as it does to any type of theist. Thank you for the very interesting reading.  I always look forward to your posts, so dense with style and wit....

Why especially for atheists?

More on Windows 7 Libraries

I just finished reading http://forum.zabkat.com/viewtopic.php?t=7729&start=0&postdays=0&postorder=asc&highlight= and so far that's all I know about x2 & Windows 7 libraries.  I'm hoping somebody can help me with a very specific problem. I LIKE the way x2 flattens the root automat...

I would love to be able to turn off double click to close.  I use a pen instead of a mouse and my hands aren't always steady.  Accidental double clicks happen to me all the time - most of the time it's of no consequence but NOT when a x2 folder I'm working in gets closed..

Thank you for all the suggestions, folks! I'm using 1.8.1.2 [Unicode] x64 1/25/2011 details view There are network and USB files in the mix, but it doesn't seem to matter which drive has the folder I'm working in. None of the folders has a huge number of files.  Most have fewer than 50 and only a ha...
