Re: Menuhack for function in panel right-click: on blank spa

by trying to create a direct link to it, you would only really be "skipping" a single submenu and the quarter-second "hover" time necessary to open the tertiary menu It's a bit more than a ¼ second on my machine and I find the extra time slightly annoying. The " Explorer &q...

Menuhack for function in panel right-click: on blank space

I've created a user command button using Menuhack.  Works perfectly. So far, so good. I notice that there is now a function for creating customised user commands for the right-click context menu PROVIDED the mouse is clicked over a file or folder.  This function doesn't operate if the mouse is over ...

philip, the log suggests that reading c:\windows never finishes can you read this folder at all? (I mean without the titlebar complication) Weird. I can through 2x, but NOT through x2 (with or without the pane title bars turned on. Well actually I just found I could in x2 it just takes forever. I a...

Damn. I spoke too soon. It's almost perfect.

If I've got the windows desktop open in the right or left panes and then I click on the \windows part of the C:\windows\ path then the program freezes. Every other path element (folder or pseudo folder) work perfectly.

if you want to see the feature now, you'll need to set a desktop font like "Tahoma" or some other modern font I changed to Tahoma for desktop windows but it made no difference I'm afraid. Still lots of assertion failures, illegal operations followed by shut down and freezing of the progra...

Hi Nikos, I just tried switching on the title bars for panes for the first time. I'm doing this through Windows 98. The program immediately had endless assertion errors and then settled into a happy stable pattern of doing an illegal operation and shutting down upon every program launch. So I've giv...

Hi Nikos, When you get a moment (whenever; I know you're snowed in or was it under at the moment) could you add a few usability enhancements to x2 .23 - as part of the campaign to get more people using x2 and thus giving you more alpha testing feedback?  :turn: I would love to have (in order of prio...

Dear Sal, I've got no preference about the three board options. But I do have an idea about how polling might work - or at least one useful option. I've been in workshops where people are given a fixed number of votes - but more than one.  For example you might get 5 votes per person.  You can then ...

Hi Nikos, When you do a new poll, could I suggest that you ask people to specify what they think the key features are in text messages and then you can pull out the unique items and we can all vote on them.  This hopefully overcomes the limitations in the number of key features that you've picked ou...

Dear Nikos,

I tried voting early and often but the system will only let me vote once.  What kind of democracy is that??

Hi Nikos, Could you add a version number to the 2xExplorer home page item on 2xExplorer documentation so users know whether it's worth redownloading the file?  Presumably it will be updated from time to time.  And could you add the 2xExplorer documentation file to the set of download buttons on the ...
