I would like to have a clean history option in x2 too. But meanwhile I do not know if the following ideas could help you: Run a reg file with the following line before launching x2. [-HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\ZabaraKatranemia Plc\xplorer2_UC\MainFrame Settings\Folder History] You can disable “Save...

Yes, you are right.

I thought the installed x2 version only loads its settings taking into account the path selected in the “Save program state on exit, to” and that it does not search for them. If this is not the case then your choice is the best.

Sorry for not answering sooner. What I wanted to say is that I could not find any information about the preference of the appdata’s file over the installation’s file in the quick start guide. I think that the settings file in the x2‘s folder should take precedence for portability reasons, but only w...

Thanks for the clarification. I did not find any information about it. I only found about the old X2 Pro Portable.

I have X2 Ult x64 installed in my computer with its settings in user appdata folder. And when I run the x2 Ult x32 from an external hard drive, it takes the x2settings.ini from the user appdata folder too instead of the one in its installation folder. Is this a bug or an expected feature? Not good w...

Thanks nikos, but please, consider adding reg and ini files as exporting options from the x2 Ult interface. I like x2 a lot, but sometimes it seems to me that it could became too complex for a novice user to completely personalize it (The settings editor was a great improvement). I would like x2 to ...

For me the new x2 Ult icon is too bright and annoys me. I like more the old one. But I will get used to it sooner or later (I have the same problem with Sandboxie’s icon.)

It is a little bit complex but any way, it is not something that must be done once and again. And why it is not possible to export the setting as a reg file? It would be really useful to be able to import the settings easily when you do not want to use ini file in a system or you want to transfer th...

Yes, more or less, sorry for my poor English. And why save settings on exit must be activated to be able to transfer the settings from the windows registry to an ini file and vice versa. I want to transfer the x2 configuration but not to save the changes made to x2.

Some comments after testing the Ultimate version.

Hello, After testing the new features of the Ultimate edition of x2 I would like to share my personal opinion about it. I think that it would be good to add an option during the Xplorer2 Ultimate installation to choose where the program must save its settings. I use to have unchecked the “Save progr...

Version: 1.8.0.9 [Unicode]
Everything is in English, as I have exposed in a previous post. The latest dll does not work for me.
Anyway. Thanks for your answer.
I am sorry not to be able to provide a translation file by my own. :(

The previous versions of x2t_spanish.dll worked fine but not the one that comes with the Setup and the latest that the translator gave to me.

Here is the latest version that worked on my Windows 2k machine. ( http://www.megaupload.com/?d=B39UTFMW )

I have just downloaded and installed the x2 1.8.0.9 Pro version selecting the Spanish translation and the problem persists. Everything is in English.

Thanks Nazzo, but that translation file is not detected by x2 1.8.0.1 32bits version. The interface is in English and no Spanish translation option appears in the Help menu.  :(

Thanks nikos. I have just sent an email to the translator.

If you do not mind, could you tell me if the steps described above are the ones I have to follow in order to create an x2 translation file?
Thanks.
