If I couldn't access it, I could hardly select a file for deletion, right?  8)

Proposal: "Locate in tree" improvement

Currently "Locate in tree" only locates the currently browsed folder. Maybe it could browse a selected subfolder instead (if such exists)?

I guess, the Zen player uses a FAT32-filesystem and is recognized from Windows as removable drive (see My Computer). Indeed. If you put in a simple USB-drive (also removable FAT drive): do you get the same? I did test it with that, but cannot reproduce. I don't have one ... :) if xplorer2 can't do ...

1.7.2.20: Pressing the Del key in my Zen Stone doesn't work

I opened my Creative Zen Stone player (F:\), selected a few things I didn't want to have there anymore, pressed Del and got - an error message. "Operation not supported". Same when choosing Delete from the context menu.

A bug, I think?

Not really, it is about 1.7.2.20... so I guess the beta version doesn't contain its own localizations?
Thank you then, I'll take the one from 1.7.2.6 ...

1.7.2.20: "Clear mini-scrap pane" is not saved.

Following happens:
I dragged gvim.exe into the mini-scrap pane. Later I cleared it, but after a restart the gvim.exe entry is back. I think this shouldn't be the case.
(The automatic saving is of course enabled..)

1.7.2.20: Localization not included?

I just made a completely fresh installation of x² to test something :) and chose "German" from the Setup, but the program is still in English. What could have gone wrong?

Does that matter? "Final" is just a word for "something that makes users think it is more stable than any other version", which is mostly wrong, isn't it?
A new final version will right start the beta test phase for the next one.

Depends on the used resolution and display size, I presume. On a smart phone it could get messy, but with common displays (SXGA here) everything is fine. Matches the small font size in xplorer²'s toolbar.

So far that doesn't happen for me. The more often I use a hotkey, the easier I remember it.

One major advantage of these alternative file managers is that you can control them via hotkeys. A mouse is - for me - a productivity killer, even with gestures. Moving my hand off the keyboard takes its time.
