Nikos, any chance of getting the behaviour changed in Xplorer2? I think you would just need to record the original date/times before showing your comment dialog, maybe include a checkbox in the comment dialog to allow the date/times to be kept/restored or updated, and then restore the file date/time...

If the file contents are changed (adding the content) then the date is affected. If a parallel (summary) stream is added then the file date isn't changed...
