Re: clicking and dragging to select files
What is a non-simple solution? How can I keep full-row selection enabled, and also avoid the intermittent unexpected Lasso effect which selects multiple files? The action I want to do is click+drag one file. Oftentimes, this works as expected. But also often the Lasso appears by surprise. I have not...

Re: for what is the net.exe in xplorer² ?
Using Win 8 / 6.2.9200, I get various files created in XP2's program folder all the time. Scripts and commands launched by XP2 seem to use the 'current directory' by default, so any files they create end up right beside xplorer2_64.exe. When my output seems to not-exist, that's where it can be found...

Re: Copy Names: double-quotes around pathnames with spaces?
Yes thanks I am aware of that option, but was hoping for something more human-readable. Default setup for Copy Names: Alt -C = Copy Names, one per line: C:\Data\Misc C:\Data\Mozilla Profiles Alt +Shft-C = Copy 8.3 Names, one per line: C:\Data\Misc C:\Data\MOZILL~1 Alt+Ctrl -C = Copy Names, comma-sep...

Copy Names: double-quotes around pathnames with spaces?
For Edit / Copy Names (Alt-C), what option will add enclosing double-quotes around pathnames that contain spaces?
Yes some paste targets can accept pathnames with spaces without double quotes, but some places *do* need the double quotes.

Re: Shrunken toolbar icons and text
A similar problem happens to me after I switch to a different Windows 8 user and then switch back. The icons and text are suddenly too big. Just Exit and restart XP2 and it's fixed.

Re: is not applicable in tree pane -- pain
Yes please. XP2 knows what User is trying to do, and it knows what 'current directory' is in both Tree and Active pane. Wish it would auto-switch from Tree Pane to Detail pane (if needed for the next step to work) and then proceed with the command. Maybe even switch back to Tree pane. Good enhanceme...

Copy/Move dialog UI Nitpicks
Using the "Copy/Move to destination folder" dialog could be made faster for keyboard, in XP2 3.3.0.2 <U> 10/28/2016. Problems Tab-order is out of whack. The Filter checkbox does not show a visual indicator that it is currently selected. The Use queue checkbox is in the same option group as...

Manifest, View Pane, interface
Using version 3.3.0.0 x64 9/13/2016. Everything is fine ( http://i.imgur.com/rwdUSkv.png ) Then, remove/rename the Manifest file. Things change ( http://i.imgur.com/XkSXpmk.png ) Some of the 'missing' features are annoying but not showstoppers. One clear benefit is - more information and less white ...

Re: Invalid PDFs locked by Draft QuickView
By "bad PDF" I mean any text file with a .PDF extension. Even though these files are named Filename.PDF, they do *not* have the '%PDF-1.2' file header. In particular, it's a two-byte file with two blank lines - two carriage returns (hex 0A 0A). Let me investigate further by debugging with ...

Invalid PDFs locked by Draft QuickView
Using version 3.2.0.2 with PDF-XChange Viewer 2.5.212 (XCShInfo.dll) on Win 8/64 When I browse in a local folder and highlight an invalid PDF file so that its contents appear in the Draft Preview, and then Preview a different file or browse a different folder, the QuickViewer holds the PDF open and/...

I have a similar ongoing problem. Will post a complete report. (Yes it's an old thread.)
