Does xplorer2 be compatible with remote desktop

Post by haomin »

When i execute remote desktop (mstsc.exe)
A: local pc
B: remote pc
xplorer2 is executed on B
some times xplorer2 can't connect drives of A or copy & paste button on toolbar is abnormal
copy A file to B, vice versa.
but Windows explorer is normal!

to be honest I haven't tested remote desktop so I don't know how it works. One common source of problems is running xplorer2 as administrator (elevated), where drag-drop won't work, mapped drives don't show etc. Try running xplorer2 normally

that means you are running as administrator. Have you disabled UAC? if not, you must untick the option to run as administrator from the desktop icon shortcut as explained here

i think we hit the problem

1. i click drive which through RDP (Remote Desktop Protocol)
2. copy & paste fail

but
1. i clock drive which through RDP
2. press ENTER on address bar (means drive mapping???)
3. copy & paste success

maybe i have a propose
[when we click drive which trough RDP in tree, make a drive re-mapping)
