So the new duplicate check / compare contents in 5.1 and newer does statistical comparison for files larger than the value of nMaxDupeContentMB , which can be set up to 250 MB.
That means if you want to do an exact match of files over 250 MB, which you could do in 5.0 and earlier, you can't do that in 5.1? Or is there setting to allow exact match for any size files (no matter how slow)?

no, the limit cannot be dropped, If you have reason to believe that statistical matching isn't adequate, you can add a rule to match the CHECKSUM column, and make sure the max checksum limit in TOOLS > OPTIONS menu is set to 0 (meaning that huge files will be read in entirety)
