apparently the google problem was a missing robots.txt in the forum root. Now I submitted a request for indexing
funny that I don't use robots.txt at all at other places too, but only the forum subdomain had the problem!? oh well...

I thought robots.txt would be used to deny crawling. Huh!

I certainly am too late for this round (because I couldn't login and when this was solved I forgot about it for some time). For the next round:

(1) Change the labels on tabs to reflect the actual folder displayed.
(2) When saving a new tabs configuration in a pane, make it easy to overwrite an existing one by presenting choice + "add new".

you can rename tabs by right clicking on them
to see the whole path, leave the mouse hanging on top of a tab (hover)
