sorry but i cannot reproduce this problem, width 0 or 1000 doesn't matter when quickfiltering is concerned

after several days of testing, i was able to figure out the actual cause.
I noticed that if i minimized [left or right] pane size, to a smaller portion than the other pane; lets say left = 35% right = 65%;
the filter box results will not show in the resized pane [small].

I can't reproduce this either. Can you show a picture of your xplorer2 window? It may be easier to send me an email with the snapshot

when i have xplorer2 in small size, filter search ain't working
after i resize it a bit bigger, result shows

this is very weird because even in the "small" window the status bar shows that there is something showing (1 item...) although it won't appear in the pane? What if you press the up/down arrow keys or pageup/down?

you can export your settings (see ACTIONS menu), zip them and email them to me, then i'll see if i can reproduce your issue
