I often find myself typing in same sets of filters, like
"*.cpp, *.h*, *.ide" and "*.dat, *.exe", etc.
I would suggest to allow the user to create a drop-down list of frequently used filters to quickly switch between them.
Cheers, great tool

I presume you are referring to the filters you can use in the address bar, to limit the view in the pane to the files you want to see.
Try Ctrl+H (or menu View|Visual filter...). You'll get a little dialog with a combo box in it. Drop down the list and you'll notice the filters you have used recently are all there!! (Limit of the history list is tweakable in the registry, so you can make the list longer if you like).
You can also use a filter like '*.*ml, -*.sml' (notice the minus sign!) to get all files with extensions ending in 'ml' (.xml or .html for instance), but excluding files with extension .sml!!
Ctrl+J toggles the last filter you have used on or off.
So, your request is granted Enjoy!!
