this has the potential to be even better than 2xplorer

it needs to load as fast as 2xplorer and needs the nice button bar on the side for drives but other features make up for the lack of that for now keep up the great work.

Well, the alpha version of x² available now (0.59) is a debug build, which includes a bunch of integrity testing as well as the usual compiled in debug guff. It has been reported (and externally confirmed) that the release builds load and run much faster. Faster even, I believe, than 2x.
