x2docs.pdf ?

Post by dft1 »

Congrats to Nikos on the big release.

Looking for the documentation for x2 1.0.0.0.

x2 takes me to the page http://netez.com/xplorer2/alldown.htm but the the links there aren't working.

That doc is not released yet.

At the moment, it is an incomplete draft being reviewed/proofread/checked for accuracy & completeness, etc. (150+ pages ... and growing)

Please be patient & make do with nikos' Quick Start "bitesize guide" this week.

Although the guide is much more condensed, it DOES touch on all the features of x2 -- it just requires careful reading (sometimes multiple readings) to fathom all the implications of what is presented. ;)

Please note that the manual is pure volunteer work, and will be offered in that spirit.

In other words, you will not be "buying" it as part of the package: it will come free of cost, and will be available to anyone who is visiting the site, regardless of the version he is using (Lite/ Professional). Visitors can even download the manual first to see what's the product like, and then decide.

Although the comparison chart given in the page for the Lite version describes the additional features you get in these versions, the manual expands all concepts. Then you can make up your mind more easily.

Comments and new ideas for enhancing the manual would always be welcome! but more on that when we put the manual online!
