i was checking my webstats from the download page and it would seem that there are many aborted efforts downloading the installer. Do you have problems downloading? Whenever I try it the file comes reasonably fast

It's always worked with no problem (and reasonably fast) for me.

http://www.ps.ic.ac.uk/~umeca74/xplorer2.zip is slow sometimes because of the density of traffic, but I don't remember ever having to abort a download.

I cannot dl from download.com.

It never starts the dl and does not provide the link to force.

x2 did dl fine from both mirrors and simtel.

Likewise I cannot download the pro version from download.com using that link. I tried to find another link with search on the site for xplorer2, but that only turned up the lite version on download.com ... (but I could download that successfully).

My two attempts yesterday and today led me to "thank you for downloading" page. But it does not download actually. No error is reported (broken link or file not found).

Using SeaMonkey (Mozilla's latest all-in-one suite).
