Autofilter enhancement proposal

Nikos, could you please make the autofilter popup menu sorted alphabetically? It's very hard to find anything in there, when there're lots of files of different types in the folder.

Actually, any chance you could have it - not only sorted - but optionally JUST the extensions (e.g. *.TXT, *.CPP etc)?

The thing is I can never remeber what the long name of certain extensions are as they change depending on the associated program and I end up losing a lot of time searching for the right files inside busy dirs.

As an example, my text files currently appear as "Notepad++ Document" and the pdf's as "Foxit Document", and that obviously changes with the tools I am currently using...

I agree, it makes sense to sort by extension and list them first...

.txt (Text Document)

the filtering happens by extension after all.
