Defaulting "select pattern" to FILES only or FOLDERS only

Something I can't figure out - when I start an X2 session, and press alt-G to select by pattern, it always has Folders and Files selected, and if I only want to ever move files, I can't default that setting when the session opens.

Am I missing something?

if xplorer2 doesn't remember your latest settings make sure you do Actions > Save settings now

Whilst cookie-cutter answers are great, I'm not sure that applies in this instance - I can't seem to get any modified settings to stick either, regarding the default boxes checked... it always comes up both. It's only "last used" insofar as the session is concerned - these don't seem to be part of the regular save set, so starting anew leaves you with both again.

(Assuming I understood the OP's original complaint as to why "last used" settings aren't perpetuating.)
