this is a windows bug, try it from any file open/save box and it will be the same I do not care about open/save boxes (actually, I do not understand what you mean by that term). I care about the situation I have described: I select a file (in the right, file pane) in the X2, call the local (app) me...

bug: "Send to" still reports inexisting error
Hi, When I select any file in the X2, and then call local (app) menu and select from it "Send to", e.g. "My documents", after a file is copied, x2 will popup a warning saying "The Target can not handle this kind of file" (approximate translation from my language). I hav...

#1 does not appear in Windows Explorer, so it does not seem to be Windows bug since it appears only in x2 #2 answer would be acceptable if I were an amateur using the mouse. I work fast, and that can be done only using the keyboard for most actions. Also, this problem does not appear in Windows Expl...

two tiny bugs to be fixed in v1.3
Hi, Two tiny bugs keep surviving new versions :) 1. Ehen a file is selected, then Apps menu (local, not main menu) is called, then Send selected, then some destination, at the end of any such copy procedure, x2 complains: The destination can not handle these files (approximatelly, I do not use Engli...

feature req: bookmarks as copy/move targets
As the title suggests:
I would like a field offering my bookmarks to be available in a Copy/move dialog box, in addition to the existing 3 fields.
An improvement is needed: when I select history in the Move/copy dialog box, I can not read entire folders.

on BUG 1) Yes, I have used GIOPT_NOSETCURDIR so I can delete folders in the Folders pane on XP (which was not needed on W98). OK, you got it, but I do not see a reason for such behaviour. on BUG 3) Yes, you are actually right. Apologies for calling it wrong :) Still, would like this improvement on B...

Re: explorer window is "2xexplorer*"?
I use PowerPro. Tryed to set the active window to "xplorer*". Did not work instead got another xplorer session with "comm port" in the title window. Went back to using "2xexplorer*" to set the active window and it works just fine. So the name of the explorer window is ...

get PowerPro
as the previous post says, get the PowerPro. I use it for 8 years (originally it was named Stilleto), and this is the single best application for Windows I have ever seen (and I have provessionaly reviewed tons of them in my 18 years as a professional journalst) Only problem with it, it is not as ea...

1. what happens if you turn that switch off? by default apps don't steal the focus, they just flash the taskbar 2. robust copy via drag-drop is possible but i left it with explorer for safety 3. there's an option to clear the read-only attribute already; see copy options 1. No, when this is off, ap...

a bug and improvement sugesstions
I believe this should be classified as a bug: Windows XP SP2 with Tweak UI set to prevent applications from stealing focus: When I start an X2 window for the first time, and try to start x2 again (e.g. using a shortcut at the desktop), this second instance will not get in front (get focus) but is tr...

how to compare filenames?
Of all the synching features, I am not able to make a simple comparison of which filenames exist in one and do not exist in another folder? I can not compare them neither by content nor by date, so I am missing "by filenames" radio button in Ctrl+F9. Or, am I missing something? SYNC SCROLL...
