I hope not. If it ever did though, I'd say nikos would go straight for WMP9, as that's the latest version. I'd imagine you wouldn't have specified 7 if didn't want that one in particular.

Don't think of this as a bad thing, but explorer.exe in longhorn does this too. It's really quite handy :)

EDIT: It would probably be a good idea to seperate the words a bit though...

That's still a long way around. I need a quicker way to get to these folders, prefrebly through the shell, and the only way to do that, (as far as i can tell) is via shortcuts.

Shortcuts to non-physical locations fail

This is probably a well documented bug, but i's been irritating me alot lately, and I thought i'd just come in here and make sure. Shortcuts to areas on your computer without a "X:\" at the beginning always fail with 3 "Debug Assertion Failed" error boxes. These locations include...

It seems xplorer2 has a sense of humour

I was at a lan the other week, and I was having a bit of network trouble. Forgetting that I couldn't use windows networking due to this, I tried to access a friends' computer over the network. After double clicking on his computer, xplorer2 thought about it, and I got an error sound and "Attemp...

I don't suppose we could have a toolbar button which would instantly hide/unhide "hidden" files and folders, could we?

I wish explorer.exe luck... I ran it last when? 3 weeks ago? I use an alternate shell, so any processes running explorer.exe is rare. If there are any other nasties around I should know about, please don't hesitate to tell me :)

I hate having thumbs.db files floating around anyway. I turned off saving them, and deleteted the lot of them.

Jaykul: I know your everywhere :P Also, while that is very, very close to what I'm after, I'm afraid I can't call an IE based solution in any terms "minimal" Plus, mshta.exe can be considered a bigger security risk than IE itself... Fiddling with it anyway, I discovered that it's almost ex...

Whoa, Whoa, Whoa! See what I mean? If this is a simple litestep config file, I'd hate to see a complicated one! I want a file maximum 10 lines long, with a dead obvious place to put the location of the plugin file I want to try. No shortcuts, no taskbar, no systray, nothing exept the plugin I'm abou...

Not Really... While this Deskmenu powertoy is a nice idea, I could create a geobar which could do exactly that much more conveniently. The problem with that solution is that the contents of the folder are not constantly bugging me to clean them up. That's the issue here, I'm not particularly fussed ...

Command line switch for Pane Style?

Is there a command line switch to open a window with a particular pane style? I'd like my shortcut to my image folder open with thumbnails, and have other shortcuts open other styles. Does such a thing exist yet? if not, can it be implimented? Or is there a nice alternative feature which would reach...
