Re: Why does the world have to be so bloody weird...

Hey, that's nothing—check out these peeps in Japan: Inside Japan's Penis Festival (Buzzfeednews.com) "A hundred thousand revelers come here to celebrate one thing: the male organ." (They started doing it in 1969 .) https://img.theculturetrip.com/1024x574/smart/wp-content/uploads/2019/01/sctp0140-kan...

Re: Could this be ...

One of my personal favourites of watching the lads from the County Council trim the public hedges is when they just tack a generic grass-cutting extension onto the back of a JCB and then drive along applying it vertically to whatever needs cutting - hedges, tree branches, etc. Even by my low standa...

https://www.nasa.gov/sites/default/files/styles/full_width_feature/public/15-007c_0.jpg Well, I'm sure it's very exciting, from an engineering viewpoint and all... But aren't those big toys pumping an awful lot of CO 2 into the atmosphere? Don't you think we're already doing enough of that? People ...

Two General Questions

I have two questions, and both of them are forum-related: 1. Is it really possible to have a topic called "General" when you're already in the "General Discussions" part of the forum? If this topic is "General", how can all the other topics be "General" too? Is this topic even more general than Gene...

Re: Good luck to all Greeks

How can someone be an amateur Greek? I mean, you're either Greek or you're not, right? Or do some people pretend they're Greek just for fun? In any case, you Greek guys (amateurs and professionals) should feel lucky. Here in the US, we have a mean, cranky 10-year-old president who spends all his tim...

Re: drabble split from 7zNSE beta 1006

On the positive side, isn't this a great example of the international nature of x2? Yes, x2 is a world-spanning project. Indeed, we x2 users are part of the Earth's most dynamic, universal experiment in the evolution of file management! Also, I've had coffee—or Kaffee , as they call it in Germany, w...

Personally, I pronounce it Beyoncé, but apparently that's not the official way to say it.

v4.3.0.2 changes?

Hey guys,

I just installed x2 v4.3.0.2, and the "readme" file it opened showed only the changes up to v4.3.0.1.

I don't see any mention of 4.3.0.2 here, either... Is there a section of the forum with version details, and I just haven't seen it?

Re: Auto-updating folders WITHOUT auto-sorting?

Hi Nikos, Sorry, I just realized you'd answered... Your suggestion worked, so thanks! BTW, when you give answers like these here on the forum, it would help if you'd mention the actual "path" to the feature or setting you're referring to. For example, this one is actually here: Tools menu > Advanced...

Auto-updating folders WITHOUT auto-sorting?

I was using one of my old laptops today with xplorer2 v1.8 on it. In v.1, when I change a folder's contents, the tab auto-refreshes, but it does NOT re-sort everything. That's exactly what I want it to do! I always want to see folders' current contents, so I always want them to update automatically....

"Export Settings" gone?

Hey guys, I've always used the Action > Export Settings command to create a .reg file with my settings. But I just tried it with x2 v4.2.0.1 (prior to updating to v4.3.0.0), and it's not there: https://i.postimg.cc/mDcT0wCv/x2-screenshot.png ("Folder Settings > Save" just saves the active tab's sett...

I think we're just having some language problems. I'd try to re-explain everything, but I'm afraid I haven't time right now... Thanks anyway!
