Re: blog: large folder speed

Do you think it is the problem?
Thank you for this very clear explanation. There are 2 settings: on battery and on AC power. I've set to "zero" on AC power, I will see :-)

Re: Turn Off All Visual Filters With One Click

EDIT: It is because in "advanced options" I didn't have selected my personnal layout. It works :-)

Re: blog: all about file date formats

"The last column in the pic above was created with these format strings:
date: dd MMMM yyyy"

In advanced options, Custom date format, I wrote: yyyy MMMM dd and save.
But the date is still dd/mm/yyyy.

I tried with yyyy/mm/dd, same result.

And date: yyyy/mm/dd

What am i missing?

I click in the tree on another folder, back to the filterer folder : it is no more filtered, so no color change. I try with the default layout, it w...

To make it easier to be aware of a filtered pane, you could change the color for "Filtered panel background" in Advanced Options.
There is a color in this setting, but I see no change in the panel background when I use the "filter" bar.

Re: blog: large folder speed

Sometimes it is very long, about 20 or 30 seconds (about once a week), like a freeze. And during this time, the preview don't work.

before you close the computer, make sure xplorer2 is fully closed with ALT+X, then it should work
I never close xplorer² when I close the computer. Should I? Why ?
When I close with the cross on top right, is it "close" or "exit"?

Re: Dropbox and color tag

are you talking about the colors that paint AROUND the filename? Yes (?), I'm talking about: right clic on a file / color tag These rely on file paths. If the path changes, then the color will be lost I did'nt change the path, but I wonder if the rules are the same in a Dropbox folder what if you g...
