I do  but it's not up ATM. I also have at least four 486 boards with 32-64 Megs each (no boxes) and one each 133, 150 and 200 MHz pentiums. If only I had keys mice and screens for each, I would be the museum proprietor!  :D

I couldn't help but put in my two cents... I've been using Xplorer2 since the later alpha releases, (boy has the look changed...) and have always appreciated having a freeware version of an indispensable app. My views on free and shareware in general are somewhere in the middle of RMS's "open s...

What doesn't it do? Play with the default bar, configure some new hotkeys, then dive in to the help file for full immersion into this do-it-all-and-then-some app.

Pertaining to my original question- I have found an app that will allow just such functions. PowerPro will insert simulated key presses into a context menu item only when a certain application is focused as well as about 3 billion other things. This baby is just about a swiss army launch app. Right ...

How to delete a hard link

I've never messed with hard links before as I never thought I'd have a use for them. I read in the manual about hard links and it helped, but now I have a minor problem. I was debugging a Blackbox plugin as it did not work with no discernable reason why. In checking the depencies using NT Dependency...

See the first post here . Context Edit is the easiest way, trust me. Here's just a suggested solution, you may do something a little different. Download, open it up, navigate to the "Folder" entry hit "New". It will ask for an internal name- use "x2open" if you wish, it...

This is called a "persistent design bug" and is #4 on TOG's 10 most wanted. Nice to know Windows is doing something about it, even better x2 apparently has, too.

just found this: peek at the readme.

EDIT: you can find pd5free here.
P.S. Yes, it's a dual pane file manager, but it's not EVEN as cool as xplorer2, in fact I found it downright annoying.

'sokay. So long as I'm not riding on any narsty bugs, (haven't noticed any quite yet anyways) I'm happy with 1102. OK here's something new... I just tried it from the Blackbox 4 Windows shell (no explorer running) and it opens, but the 'about' box reports it as 1.1.0.2, whereas right-clicking xplore...

If i was adding all commands in all places then it wouldn't be a gui, it would be the space shuttle Now that's funny :D (and I have used apps like that, eek.) I understand your position Nikos, really I do. Two panes is enough of a trump on Explorer that I don't even think about it anymore. Using an...

Forgive me for repeating myself, but if only ONE tab feature were implemented, it would be "Open in new tab" when right-clicking on a folder (which of course would open that folder in a new tab in the active pane) I know it is convenient enought to Ctrl-Ins when a folder is selected, but I...
