Yes, of course.
However I wondered if one could do that without having to scroll up to the top of the expanded list of sub-folders - i.e. to collapse the tree from anywhere in the tree.
Could there be a "collapse all" function in the 'folders' pane?

Collapse All
I'm searching for this topic: "collapse all" expanded folders and I don't see how. There are some pretty old discussions on the forum but they don't seem to apply. From 2008 is this comment: " to collapse all, click on the [+] right under desktop node " But I don't see any [+] so...

Re: Print Tree?
I wonder if there is any update to this very old discussion?
That is, an easy/intuitive way to copy the folder tree structure to a list? That is, a list of the subfolder, with sub-sub etc folders, all in a list. Be nice if it was one of the items on the Tools menu item.
Thanks Richard

almost duplicate filenames
I thought I'd tidy up my downloads folder of duplicate files which have the same names except and appended number - typically it is an appended (1) or (2). (I admit to be messy at downloading - sometimes it is easier to download the same file than going to look for it, even within a single folder). ...

Alt-C
Alt-C copies a filename/path to the clipboard.
Can this command be added to the toolbar as an icon? I see only a limited number of pre-set commands that can be added to the toolbar (ok, quite a large limited number) but not how to add ones not on this list.

Re: change date based on part of filename
Thanks Nikos: I tried the things you suggested but I couldln't see how to get it to work and/or too complicated for my simple mind. Another little utility: Advanced Renamer (https://www.advancedrenamer.com/) has a little utility that did it quite nicely for me. Albeit with words that didn't seem to ...

change date based on part of filename
I couldn't find this discussed before so apologies if it is repeated. I have a pile of data files (example: NS701_001-15-33-008_(00061)_2017-10-05-12-11-25.edf) whose date is embedded in the file name (2017-10-05 at 12:11:15pm) but because of the process of copying the files from the original machin...

browse flat for folders/subfolders
I had an idea that I need to compare subfolders within a series of folders. I thought that selecting the folders of interest (from the root) and then 'browsing flat' might work, but this utility seems to show only the contained files, and not the (sub)folders. Any way that I could do this task? Than...

links for help
Two little things: The help menu item "online support" opens an email client with address filled in etc. That's quite helpful sometime, but not really 'online support'... perhaps rename 'email support' or something? A link to this forum might be nice... Many internet links open correctly (...
