Bug: Calculate subfolders size automatically & column so
When that "Advanced" option is active and I sort the size column, the folders are only sorted by size once. If I leave the folder, or enter another folder, only the file's are sorted by size, while the folders return to alphabetical sorting. Perhaps this is the intended functionality? I'm ...

speed up latency/refresh rate between operations?
xplorer2 is a bit slower than 2xExplorer for basic operations (delete, move, copy, drag & drop). Is there any registry setting I could implement that decreases this delay? For example, when I drag & drop a text file into a folder it takes about half a second for the file to disappear. In 2xE...

the new design is much more powerful. It contains all the information in 2x and adds more. when i select items, i seldom do it in one go; i select some, then select some more. Having the ability to check the details of the focused item while continuing the browsing with an existing selection can't ...

Re: Free space
I too agree that the missing free space feature is a big ommission. I never realized how much I depended on it until I no longer had it. Well, it is not 'missing', but takes hitting Ctrl+Alt+Space to get the free space info on the statusbar. xplorer and 2xExplorer are extremely useful when performi...

Status Bar layout is flawed and not user friendly
When I select files/folders in 2xExplorer the status bar information is well laid out and clear. In xplorer2, it is not clear because the status bar area is strangely divided using an obscure layout scheme. For example, if I select 2 objects (1 file/1 folder) in 2xExplorer, the bottom-right status b...

Re: Free space
Hey! Despite the "wishing well" being closed, I still think that #1, the free space feature is minor enough and important enough to be implemented with little fuss. thx, eXp I too agree that the missing free space feature is a big ommission. I never realized how much I depended on it unti...

Hey. I'm getting this too. It has apparently nothing to do with number of files for me. Sometimes it's just fast and other times just slow. Seems pretty random. And not only folder listing, but also updates in general. Like deleting a file can take up to 5 seconds before it registers on screen or i...

sorry if i'm getting a bit too figurative here but are you sure you edited the right binMiscOptions? I'm certain. also make sure that there aren't any x2 windows open while you are editing the registry -- some may be dormant They were all closed properly. finally make sure there aren't any alternat...

nevermind, I was wrong!
The folder access speeds seems to be good and bad. On some instances of xplorer, folder read speeds are blazing fast, on other instances, they're slow all over again. I don't know what to attribute this to. This abnormality doesn't just occur in separate xplorer sessions, they occur in the same sess...
