Re: Dropbox sync
I'll give you an example on my end. I fired up Teamviewer. Opened xlplorer2 at both ends and selected my Drop Box directory on both computers. Dropped a 1.9 MB .xls file in Drop Box on one end - in less than 2 seconds it showed up on the other computer in xplorer2.. Round 2 Dropped 4 files totaling ...

Re: Dropbox sync
I use Drop Box.
I don't seem to notice a problem, but I may not understand.
Can you explain with an example?

Nikos, a Suggestion for your Change Log text file in light of today's BitsDuJour offer: If someone who has no knowledge of the program clicks on the link on the BitsDuJour page and reads this text file and sees this: "Items marked with [P] are only in the professional version and for the ultima...

Re: Help with a FastCopy user command
I was typing in a correction as Kilmatead's post showed up. I erroneously copied the command line from a "try this" command line I used when FrizzleFry's command line didn't work - sort of a "Hail Mary" attempt I had tried. I apologize for not looking at the command line I had pa...

Re: Help with a FastCopy user command
I haven't been using FastCopy, so I downloaded the 64-bit version and installed. The command line that FrizzleFry shows does not work for me - It pops up the "Usage" dialog box. I have it in my "User Commands". For example, the "Move" command line is: >"P:\Program ...

Re: Help with a FastCopy user command
Thank you. I appreciate the quick response. Evidently this is an already-discussed topic. I searched for "TeraCopy" & "FastCopy" but must have missed that discussion. I usually use the RobustCopy/Move, so I won't be turning it Off. But sometimes, when copying file(s) that are...

Re: Help with a FastCopy user command
I usually use xplorer² Robust Copy/Move to copy/move files from the Right Pane to the Left Pane. However, there are times when I want to use a totally external program (FastCopy or TeraCopy) to do this. Then I have to use the RightClick/Drag procedure, rather than "F5/F6". Is there a way t...

Thanx, as always.

Re: blog: column handlers are back
I'm still confused.
If I click on your link to the 32-bit install program in your Blog entry on folder column handlers, it installs the 32-bit "Professional" version, not the 32-bit "Ultimate" version.
That's why I asked the question.
What am I missing here?

An "AutoHide" Feature? (or Bug?)
This may fall under a "Feature" or a "Bug" in the new "AutoHide" capabilities in the latest Beta versions of xplorer² Ultimate. I have noticed that, if I have set the Preview to AutoHide, it is still doing its "previewing" even when it is hidden to the side. T...

Adding Columns
I'm trying to add new columns, and am having a devil of a time. Besides "Alt-K", what are the procedures (steps) to do this? Through trial and error, I have the Left Pane the way I want it, but the Right Pane won't "stick". Under Actions-Folder Settings, "Default" is un...

Re: beta version 2307
you have a valid point about overwriting, but then I would need an extra field (static text description) to declare the purpose of the edit-rename field. Now they are nicely combined in one. I'll see what I can do I hope that you decide to make the change. It will add a lot to a pretty useful addit...

Re: beta version 2307
Looking at the ability to rename a file when there is a "collision" when copying, can you modify the dialog to include the filename in question in the input area of the dialog, where you currently have "Rename to keep existing item (Click YES to apply)"? You already know the file...
