Nikos:

I do not mean to be overly critical, you have a great application and many thanks for the contribution.

For someone, that frequently says "haven't figured it out" you sure have a great grasp of the windows api.

Yes, now I see where I am. My cmd.exe gives me \winnt\system32\cmd.exe as the window title where ever I am.  So out of long habit, I am always looking to the prompt $p$g$_$g for the path.  Nice Tabbed browsing is excellent addition, very good job. Question: I use the folder statistics frequently to ...

I apologize for not being more clear: 1.  If you get command prompt (where the address bar normally appears), you get a $_____.     If you enter a command, such as "dir", you get an open cosole windows (alla xeplorer console).   If you simply hit <enter> at $ prompt, a console appears (all...

Problems with DOS (command prompt)

The  command shell is excellent , but the behavior is inconsistent: 1. Example session: $  ls       =>    returns dir and keeps xeplorer window open  - good! dir       =>    returns dir  - good! prompt $p$p      =>    prompt unchanged  Bad! cmd.exe      =>  returns new command shell in xeplorer wind...

menu and shortcuts keys - Useability Part 2

It would be incredible enhancement to provide the ability to remap the keyboard shortcuts to menu commands.  While I don't know where this feature sits in the list of future enhancements, it should be included in next major release. This would eleviate any questions about menu order. Provide a user ...

menu order

I agree, while much time is spent in explorer,  90% of other apps use a consistent menu interface including key combinations.   Another point , I recommend that either, key combinations are consistent with "other" apps or as previously requested,  that user be able to customize menu key co...

I don't belive in "public" corners of the registry.  The registry is unfortunately extremely public and accessible.

Writing to a "little" corner of the registry is kinda like a stranger giving my wife just a "little" kiss.

Request for an enhancements

I would like to suggest the following features be implemented: 1.  Allow users to map the xplorer menu functions to user defined keystroke combinations. While xplorer provides incredible speed and much needed navigation features, usability would greatly increase by allowing users to map command to f...
