Sorry not sure about what you are talking about. Can you be more specific. There is a way (option) to chage the prompt char or something? If yes no I didn't change it or at least I do not know about it. Another picture with a more complete example if it helps: http://www.bloomfield.as.ro/x2consolefo...

Yes is for every command. Is like in the place of the prompt I have the characters: space, backspace, space, backspace, space. I do not know about any "funny prompt". What do you mean by that?

Yes the console is fully functional the only problem beeing the rectangle character. I tried with other font and same problem (curier new for example displays an empty rectangle). My machine is win 2000 professional, English.

It seems that the ascii code of the character is back space ( 08 )

Sugestion

Sugestions to improve tab interface:
- Ctrl+Alt+Shift+left/right arrows to move the tabs order
- drag drop to move tabs order and to move from one pane to other (well this is not very easy to do I think)
- Close menu item in tab context menu

the problem is that ctrl+\ isn't really meant to be used as a keyboard shortcut, that's why we get the problems. But I think chp has a good idea with ctrl+insert Bad Idea: Ctrl+Insert is an equivalent for Ctrl+C in Windows!! And it is working like Ctrl+C in win explorer but not in xplorer2. I agree...

Ok thanks Alt+J, Ctrl+A will do the trick ;) If the selection was kept after hiting Alt+J again it would have been great. But from the informations provided by JRz another way to select the files whould be: Ctrl+Alt+Q, * Thanks again for your help. PS: Shift+arrows or page up/down are also ok and I ...

Great job!
I was expecting impatiently those features for some time :). Now x2 can realy aim to the best file explorer title.

PS: Just an idea: Put numbers in front of tab names like "1: Test @ D:\" and put shortcuts ALT + 1, ALT + 2 to switch directly to the tab (this is how SciTE does).
