SOLVED

I figured out:  I must have opted to "Save settings now" when x2 was displayed on the 2nd monitor.  Once I did so when it was displayed on the primary monitor, it once again starts up there.  I was just expecting the "open on the last monitor used" behavior.

OK.  Maybe this is something limited to my machine, then.  I wasn't sure (I don't have this problem with other applications), that's why I asked.

How to add the "Open in x2" context menu item for

The installation of older versions of xplorer2 used to add a context menu option for folders called "Open in x2".  I don't have it now, but would like to have it again.  I don't want to replace Windows Explorer system-wide, but would like a way to quickly open a folder in x2 from Explorer.

Dual monitor support not working?

I find that the last couple x2 beta releases insist on opening on Monitor #1, even though I move it to Monitor #2 and close it there. It should open on the most recent monitor it was shown in.  1.80.19 behaves this way.

(I'm running x2 32-bit on Windows 7 64-bit.)

As an aside, it would be nice if the 'Files Deleted' number also reflected the relative size of that job (as Robust Copy/Move show parenthetically after the file-count).
I though there was an option somewhere for this, but I cannot find it now.

One thing I used to do, and need to get back into the habit of doing again, is keep a log of everything installed on my computer.  That way if something starts going awry I can check the log and start uninstalling the most recent entries.

Woo-hoo!

Congratulations!  As a programmer I can imagine all the work you have put into x2, and as an enthusaistic user I am glad you got the recognition you deserve for this product.

Yes, this one folder does have the "desktop.ini" file. ... Aha!  Doing the "Folder settings -> Save" action solved the problem.  I didn't think about folder settings being the culprit here.  And since this is the folder x2 always starts in for me, those settings must have been ov...

x2 not saving column changes

I have discovered that xplorer2 (1.6.5.3 [Unicode]) is not saving my changes to the Details View columns, either column width or column placement.  I tried the "Save Settings Now" and the "Save program state on exit" methods.  (Running on Windows XP Pro SP2.)

1609 changes?

I'm glad to see new development under way!

It looks like the 1.6.0.9 beta's "changes.txt" stops with the changes to 1.6.0.8.  What changed between that version and 1.6.0.9?
