If you hold down the shift key while pressing space, the incremental search treats the key-press as a character, rather than a selection command. In other words, instead of pressing space, press shift+space.
It works, but it's ungainly, so a more elegan solution would be nice

If you had multiple tabs loaded in your folder panes, a problematic tab may cause a problem in starting. I have a similar problem: Whenever I start xplorer^2 with a path as a command line argument (i.e. most of the time, as it's set as my default file manager!) it crashes. I'm running XP SP2, and i...

Selecting 1 file, and putting them all in a scrap-window, selecting it, and bringing up the properties works fine. Selecting 2164 files (the most I have in a single folder), and putting them all in a scrap-window, selecting them all, and bringing up the properties works fine. Same with any number of...

I've figured out why xplorer^2 was sometimes reporting as 1.5 and sometimes reporting as 1.4 (all the shortcuts point to 1.5, but the hotkey I've got setup still pointed to 1.4... duh). However, I am still having the problem - both in 1.4 and 1.5 (I keep the older versions archived). I am running an...

Bug: Crash on flat-view file properties
Hi,
If I select several folders, flat-browse them (shift+enter), then select all the files in the scrap pane, and bring up the file-properties(F12) then xplorer^2 dies with a memory access error.
I'm sure I'm using 1.5.0.0 (though Help -> About lists the version as 1.4.0.0).

*resurrects thread* I've had some time to look over the past 10 months to look into plugins and extending Windows Explorer. xplorer2 grows with your shell, stuff that will go into explorer will be grabbed, but not custom plugins What sort of things are taken from Explorer? Context menu entries I sup...

Feature Request: Custom Hidden Files & Folders
Howdy, There's an option in Windows Explorer, duplicated in Xplorer^2, to hide/show hidden files. Could this feature could be expanded to show/hide specified files & folders, rather than those marked by the hidden attribute?I want to see DLL files, and system files, but, there are several files ...
