Re: Any news from Kilmatead?

A Google trail leads to this : http://source.southdublinlibraries.ie/bitstream/10599/4926/2/House%20of%20Corkagh.pdf The photos in there show ivy-covered "Kilmatead" and an 18th Century gunpowder mill which looks very much like the photo posted by kunkel321 and fits with previous posts by kilmatead ...

Drag-and-drop not working in Windows 10 (X2 ult)

I can drag-and-drop between Explorer windows. I can copy-and-paste between xplorer2 windows. But I can't drag-and-drop between xplore2 panes, nor between xplorer2 and Explorer. I am running xplorer2 as a user with admin privileges. OS: Windows 10 Professional (x64) Build 15063.483 Xplorer2 version: ...

Re: Updating portable Xplorer2 Ultimate on non-admin PCs

usually you keep it in a USB stick so you don't have to worry about installing it True, but I keep a copy on a networked drive because USB ports aren't accessible and I can install anything (no admin rights). So to update that networked copy I have to: 1. install xplorer2 at home using Sandboxie to...

Updating portable Xplorer2 Ultimate on non-admin PCs

I use Xplorer2 Ultimate portably. On some machines I don't have full admin rights so updating it is a pain.

Is it possible to download a Zip?

many thanks for your great product.

Tip Of The Day error?

Today's Tip Of The Day says: "Be very careful with folders that have the J attribute. These folder junctions are in essense hard links for folders; the catch is, if you try to delete the junction itself, you'll ransak all the target folder structure!" That's not true for me, I can delete the junctio...

Colour for folder types?

I have several folder junctions and I'd like to colour them, like I can with file types.

Is there any way to do this?

Many thanks

Nice video and I agree with the comment re the mini-scrap.

Microsoft's Image Resizer (creates a context menu entry "Resize Pictures") is also brilliant for this:

WindowsSecrets is a very informative newsletter, I pay a couple of UK pounds for a year's subscritpion which is well worth it.

BTW, Wikipedia has a very informative entry on 'wanker'...

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wanker

...which means that most of us are "wankers".

A well-deserved award Nikos! The best software is so simple that you forget you're using it and that how xplorer2 is for me. It helps me in my work a LOT.

could you have found a bug in the settings editor? 8<snip>8 What changes can you see? Hmmm... well I found that it doesn't actually freeze, it just takes a long time to fire up first time. First I deleted the Xplorer2 keys and imported an old settings.reg. Then: 1. Export registry keys with Regedit...

2. There's nothing wrong if you have NOT turned on the Cascaded breadcrumb function. In that case both buttons on the right- and left-handed mouse work as they should. That's right. It's only cascaded menus that crash the breadcrumbs with the left-handed mouse in XP as well. Non-cascaded menus work...

Breadcrumbs don't work with left-handed mouse

I use a left-handed mouse i.e. the buttons are swapped.

Both mouse buttons now behave the same, i.e. as the right mouse button. There is no "history list" in the left-mouse button any more.

Breadcrumbs look very useful too..

I'm using version version 1.7.0.2, XP Pro SP2

Thanks!

Toolbar User Commands limited to 10...

Are there any plans to increase this?

10 user commands isn't enough for me! I have about 20 defined, and I would like to be able to add them to Toolbars.

Many thanks.
