to get more icon spacing, go to control panel (or right click on your desktop), edit desktop properties, goto appearance tab, click advanced button, find icon spacing in the drop-down menu and increase the number to taste Tiles are different, because names of files are not below, they are by side (...

Randomly select a certain number of files in folder?
Is there a way to do that in xplorer2? Maybe using the search function and a combination of filters? I couldn't figure out how to do it. I have an mp3 player with 1 GB of storage, and I'd like to move a random selection of mp3s from my music folder onto it. Help? Thanks in advance. xplorer2 i...

batch file environment
Is there any way to set explorer2 to start batch scripts in the current directory rather than the explorer2 program files directory (as is windows explorer's default behavior)? I *REALLY* don't want to have to code full paths into all of my scripts.
Thanks!
Thanks!

Maybe there's a way to change how a file with a given extension is executed? E.g. if filetype is 'cmd', change the environment before executing a shell script: cmd.exe /c <script to determine current directory> <cd to current directory> <execute desired script> I don't know anything about the capab...

I can't uncheck that value; I find my self constantly deleting things, and it's quite annoying to have to remember to browse to another folder before I can delete (or receive an annoying error message). Any other way? This is kind of a deal-breaker for me, since I just recently had to put on the '...

batch files, current directory
When I execute a batch file from any directory using explorer2, the shell starts in the zabkat folder (Program Files\...). Which means that I need fully-qualified paths coded in all of my batch files, or some logic to determine the current directory and then cd to it. I have many existing utility ...
