drop downs for folder groups. dual bookmarks, bookmarks, etc
When you select "Drive" or "System" from the toolbar a drop down is presented to select from a list. I thought this would be super handy for folder groups. bookmarks, etc. I don't see anyway to add an item to the toolbar except by adding each bookmark/folder group individually...

Ultimate version?
What do I get by purchasing the Ultimate edition? I would like to have the potable option and as far as I can tell the Ultimate version is the only option. I was set to buy it and then saw the "lifetime" upgrades which are another $50. I thought that a little excessive, especially in ...

you can overwrite and delete predefined filters easily. The delete part may be a bit unclear so here is the procedure. Select the filter from the PREDEFINED list, hit CLEAR button, then click on SAVE button. Not extremely intuitive but it saves us for separate delete buttons So it begs the question...

all these single items work for both panes. If you press ALT while selecting a path in the addressbar for example, you will open the folder in the inactive pane While I am sure that there are workarounds and shortcuts for everything, the fact that you have find them and then memorize them is a barr...

Address bar for each pane
Sorry for all the questions, requests, etc.. I am setting up xplorer2 once again after trying a host of other file managers. There are some things that they do that are nice and make sense (to me anyway) One of them is, why have only a single address bar when in dual pane mode? Even more to the p...

Persistent visual filters
So, now I have the visual filter working to filter out any files that I have not touched in a month. Works well to clean up the clutter and get me right to the files that I work with most. However, two things. 1) Why are they not persistent? If I close xplorer2 and then re-open it, the filters ar...

mechanic, Unless you have changed the default settings, F5 (F6) [followed by ENTER] should Copy (Move) the selected item(s) to the opposite pane, unless you specify another destination in the dialog box before you hit ENTER. And, as Kilmatead indicates, adding the <ctrl> modifier should execute the...

copy and move to other pane in one step?
With other dual pane file managers that I have used there is the ability to copy or move files from one pane to the other with just a single keystroke. With xplorer2 I can hit f5 but then I have to select "other folder" and click OK. I tried writing a user command to copy/move to the othe...
