Why?
If I omit /P (single instances) many things in x2 don't work correctly or consistently for me, I have a lot of problems if I don't use /P.

Presets: Last instance of x2 to close, wins :-(
Using 2.1.0.1 on both 32-bit and 64-bit with /M /N /P I have multiple instances of x2 running. In any one of them I create a new preset or retrieve existing preset and modify it, then click SAVE button. (Examples of these presets are the "options" under robust copy and move, presets for ...

Using x2 pro 2.1 I have Bookmarks set for dual panes. In single pane mode I access a dual pane bookmark. It opens two tabs in the single pane, instead of switching to dual pane mode and setting each pane as per the saved bookmark. How do I get x2 to open my dual pane bookmarks in dual pane mode n...

I wanted to delete a bunch of empty folders off a removable drive. I used CTRL-F, folders marked files unmarked, and added contents defined as 0 min and 0 max. Result list of several hundred folders in scrap pane as expected. I'm very careful to use the 'clear' button before entering search crite...

I have marked/unmarked options so I can see all files -- that the Windows GUI allows, anyway. Including those pesky 'hide protected operating system files' (the option is unmarked). (Bad enough that there are still many many hidden files that can only be revealed from the command shell... and proba...

Sorry for delay in coming back in here... I've just reproduced easily, on a completely different machine - XP Pro SP3 32-bit. x2 pro version 2.0.0.1 Using the aforementioned switches /M /N /P, I launched x2, picked a file I know is not being accessed (it's a few months old), pressed shift-F12, tick...

Do keep in mind I launch x2 with /M /N /P which makes it work differently than the default. In general using these switches *improves* my x2 experience substantially (for me it makes x2 much more predictable), the downside being sometimes I see problems other don't experience. Don't know if these s...

Change file create and modified time not working
Using version 2.0.0.1 on Win7 Pro SP1 (on a 32-bit system and also on a 64-bit system). Highlighted (selected) a file, SHIFT-F12 to bring up Change Attributes dialog, ticked the box by Modified on: and used the spinner arrow to bump the time up by 1 second. Clicked OK. Time remains unchanged. Issu...

I don't know the code inside x2 so I can't say whether the use of -0- is deliberate or accidental wandering of the program. What I can say is it happens to you too if you issue the command twice, so it seems it could be deliberate. It's certainly repeatable so it shouldn't be hard to correct in wh...
