Not the case here unfortunately, the display switches from <folder> to -0- at some point, and remains there for some time before giving the folder size (if it ever does).

OK I tried the FolderSize extension, it's not what I'm after. Nikos recommended in another post that I do exactly this (CTRL-D) to find out folders with size=0.   http://forum.zabkat.com/viewtopic.php?p=41059#41059 But it isn't reliable and leads to false result. I still don't understand, if '0' can...

Old topic but still relevant, at least for me... :-)

I've used x2 some years now and the delete key not being the file delete key in the scrap pane still gets me from time to time.

Is there a way I can assign the 'delete file to recycle bin function' onto the delete key, in the scrap pane?

Yes I did read that.  But I don't understand how that helps my issue.  Please explain?

I don't think the -0- is good, a -0- means the directory is empty -- if x2 has finished.  But how to know?   Sometimes x2 never finishes, and the -0- stays a very long time but the directory is not empty. Using some intermediate state symbol instead of <dir> and -0- would really help to show us that...

Ah yes I see what you mean... duh!  Need more coffee... need more coffee...

Interesting that the ALT-C copy doesn't honor the option setting.  I guess that's just meant for display purposes.

Thank you for setting me straight!

Strange sort behavior bug

Using v2.0.0.0 on Win7 Pro 32-bit SP1.  'Natural Number Sort' marked in options. Sorting on "name" column ascending in detail display, below two filenames are in incorrect sort sequence:  SageTV7.xml-backup-20110805  SageTV7.xml-backup-2011072702 Other files in directory are shown correctl...

Folder size shows 0 while being calculated

After using CTRL-D to recalculate folder size, x2 displays 0 for size until the calculation is completed. Could x2 show some other type of placeholder until the size is known, such as <wait> <calc> or other?

Thanks and regards,

Can we shoot the developer now?    LOL My chosen inactive background color is a dark grey, almost too dark to read what is there when that color is in effect.  My active background color is white.  The option button for inactive background color is always white -- except when I switch to du...

If I understood you correctly, that's different from what I see?

I have the single pane "in focus" (active?), the directory tree pane is colored with my selected inactive background color, then I pull up the options -- the button is white (not my selected color).

All my machines - two XP SP3 32-bit, one Win7 32-bit, one Win7 64-bit -- all of them only show white for the selected color when I bring up the options, even though my chosen active pane color is on display.  x2 version 1.8.1.1  in all but one case, one XP machine still has 1.8.1.0. In playing aroun...

>  Don't shoot the developer! Why not?  It's not as pointless as shooting the messenger  :P OK this works, and I can live with the sharing of the color. Can you fix the option to show the actual color currently selected?  (Tools -> Options -> Window (tab) -> Inactive Background color bar at bottom. ...

OK I used 'save settings now' from main window then quit both x2 and the scrap pane and made sure there was no lingering x2 process running. When I relaunched x2 and opened a scrap pane, the info box is now unmarked, good :-) But another change I made while there, to set the inactive background colo...

Thanks for replies, that box has always been unmarked in my main x2 but it was marked in the scrap pane.  I've turned it off and the info details are not appearing any longer, just as I wanted. But, I can't find the 'save settings on exit' anywhere in the scrap pane?  I know where that is in the mai...
