OK I tried the FolderSize extension, it's not what I'm after. Nikos recommended in another post that I do exactly this (CTRL-D) to find out folders with size=0. http://forum.zabkat.com/viewtopic.php?p=41059#41059 But it isn't reliable and leads to false result. I still don't understand, if '0' can...

I don't think the -0- is good, a -0- means the directory is empty -- if x2 has finished. But how to know? Sometimes x2 never finishes, and the -0- stays a very long time but the directory is not empty. Using some intermediate state symbol instead of <dir> and -0- would really help to show us that...

Folder size shows 0 while being calculated
After using CTRL-D to recalculate folder size, x2 displays 0 for size until the calculation is completed. Could x2 show some other type of placeholder until the size is known, such as <wait> <calc> or other?

All my machines - two XP SP3 32-bit, one Win7 32-bit, one Win7 64-bit -- all of them only show white for the selected color when I bring up the options, even though my chosen active pane color is on display. x2 version 1.8.1.1 in all but one case, one XP machine still has 1.8.1.0. In playing aroun...

OK I used 'save settings now' from main window then quit both x2 and the scrap pane and made sure there was no lingering x2 process running. When I relaunched x2 and opened a scrap pane, the info box is now unmarked, good :-) But another change I made while there, to set the inactive background colo...

Thanks for replies, that box has always been unmarked in my main x2 but it was marked in the scrap pane. I've turned it off and the info details are not appearing any longer, just as I wanted. But, I can't find the 'save settings on exit' anywhere in the scrap pane? I know where that is in the mai...
