More data on the cpu consumption issue

Hi again! On my machine at last I can trace the problem. It always happens in connection with Acrobat Reader 9. The problem seems the be connected with the preview funtionality. If I select the PDF document, Xplorer shows the preview of the title page. The Taskmanager shows that X2 has triggered an ...

have you noticed any pattern to this? is it confined to the new version 1.72? I personally never experienced this problem before version 1.7.1.4. Is there a way to send you information for debugging? Can I - for example - make a memory dump when X2 is still running? The last time I had this problem...

Xplorer uses all CPU runtime

Hi! Since a view days I experience a strange thing: sometimes, when visiting a folder, all of a sudden Xplorer eats all the cpu runtime it can get. I cannot really say why. x2 is addressed to intelligent people; acting like a nanny like as if they were silly-billy types is bound to insult :) Well, accidents do happen. For my part, I've never ever (knowingly!) used drag&drop for the movement of files, because of the real danger of a mis-drop! Most colleague I talke...

the only way you can achieve this is if you drag with the right mouse button Thanks for the answer, but the point is: using for example a laptop's touchpad, it is sometimes very hazardous  for the shell to allow drag&drop. I've spent hours trying to locate an accidentally moved file. Personally...

Speaking of "drag & drop": I always hated the Explorer-feature to move files without warning using drag&drop. Is there a way to tell Xplorer2 to ask before moving? Like "Total Commander" does?
