Darkening of the panels during file operations
I must say, I'm not a fan of this option being turned on by default. Maybe this is me, but most of my file operations are quick and this blinking of grey is rather annoying.

Re: Support NeighboringFilesQuery on Windows 10
While I'm also disappointed that compat with ShellExecute is broken for Win32, this is a feature that accommodates UWP security model, not just a bug in Photos; other UWP apps are affected too. That'd be great if x2 supported this on Windows 10.
Thanks for the workaround though.

Support NeighboringFilesQuery on Windows 10
Here's a problem that I have since Windows 10 was released: 1. Associate pictures with built-in Photos app 2. Go to a folder with multiple pictures present 3. Double-click the picture in x2 Observe that even though the picture opens, it's not possible to use left-right keyboard buttons in the Photos...

Ah, I didn't realize that toolbars have separate icon size settings. Looks better now, thanks!
The menu icons are still tiny though.

Re: Support for Hi-DPI displays and scaling > 100%
Unfortunately, doesn't help that much. Tweaking toolbar settings gets me more usable toolbar buttons, but the address bar, buttons around it, menu icons are not good. E.g., compare small icons in file panels (properly sized) and small icons in the address bar and menus - it's supposed to be the same...

Support for Hi-DPI displays and scaling > 100%
Hey Nikos, long time no see... :) Do you have any plans to make x2 look nice on hi-DPI screens with scaling set to larger than 100%? Recently I picked up a laptop with 4K screen and x2's layout on 225-250% scaling looks very-very bad. :( The panels and the tree are fine, but the menu and command lin...

Where position of the copy/move window is stored?
Happy new year!
Where the position of the copy/move window is stored? I was messing with multi-monitor configuration and remote desktop, and it looks like my window got moved to some weird place, where I can't see it at all. I'd like to reset it.

Re: blog: new era for xplorer2 tutorial videos
There's a mode of screen capture that captures straight to MP4. Give it a try - this is one of my favorite pieces of software (along with x2 )

BTW, for the future - ShareX is the tool to do screen capture. Can't recommend enough.

Re: blog: SHA1 christmas spoiler
So, x2 runs all the way to 98, right? Do you actually test it on versions that old? Or even on XP SP3 for that matter?

Speaking of which: that'd be nice to see 7zf to show as "7-zip folder", not "ExplorerFrame".
Another problem cropped up with this release:
Basically, the extension holds my file hostage.

Restart doesn't "fix" the problem.

Yep, that worked. But it's definitely not what I'd expect. Microsoft's ZIP doesn't behave like this on the first run.
BTW, password protected archives seem to be not supported.
In either case - awesome stuff! Thanks a lot!

Nope. Regsvr32 is successful. This is how my Explorer behaves:
I also logged off/on before that (assuming that registration during the installation didn't propagate properly) - that didn't help either.
