The bug is hard to track down as windows explorer itself does not seem to be effected by this, it's just x2. I googled for the last 2 hours, but to no avail.

No luck. Removed the entry, restarted all instances of both windows explorer and x2, but no change. Rebooted the system, but still no auto-refresh when renaming drives in x2. If the drive letters are disabled in the options on a stock registry, the underlying value is still not spontaneously created...

Hello!  :) In order to hide certain folders, I configured a hyperfilter that should work permanently. I saved both x2 and the layout settings, but unfortunately, x2 doesn't remember this setting. I would have to reapply the visual filter manually every time I launch the program. How can I avoid this?
