Thanks FrizzleFry, indeed F1 was mapped to 32864, but I was not able to translate this to some description. Do you know what it is for? In the command finder, searching for F1, it has not been shown (but several other commands assigned with an F1 key combination).

To be fair one should mention that there has been some helpful reaction on this MS thread in between. No solution (there might be no quick one though) but a bug reported (hopefully) and some MS guy tested on Win10 and reported back.

Ah, I tried to drag a file to a subfolders of 'Documents' or 'Downloads' with automatic foldout in the tree which works. Draging to their parents does not work. Pasting with context menu does work though.
