Re: ribbon head count

Hi Nikos, I would like to use the ribbon (hidden by default) but only if we are able to put in our own custom commands in there... Took me some years to get used to them, but I can work perfectly with them if I can arrange the items myself. Infact, I guess it's more fancier than the toolbar, and wou...

Re: alpha version 250.15

Hi Nikos, Really love the ribbon (I got used to those after a long time), also still like the old menu style, however this is more in lign with all other applications I use, so it becomes serene on my monitor. However, some things I would like to add, maybe it's also mentioned before or on your todo...

Re: Year End wish: Being able to define a viewer per file ex

Right, you can also use Windows Explorer in stead of xplorer2, you can also view and copy files with it, who needs xplorer2 .... There a big difference in openening / executing a file or open it with the viewer or editor you would like for default to use for these kind of files. I guess this is a ve...

Associating files

Not sure if it's already builtin, but I would like to see some feature to associating programs to fiiletypes. I'm always using Ultimate xplorer2 on business clients where I do not always have the opportunity to assign programs to specific fiel extensions. However, when I have the Ultimate version of...

Sure,

Do not browse to your mapping, but just to your UNC path, so instead browsing to your G:\ drive, you need to browse to \\server\groups...

Using W7 64bit, WMP 12.0.7601.17514.

But to be honest, before IneedHelp reported this issue, I was not aware of it. I'm not playing media files from x2 preview 36 times after eachother on a daily basis ...

Hi Ineedhelp, Same issue over here, exactly how you describe. However, selecting the wav file again results in playing the file, but the controls are just not available anymore. @fgagnon, use a short wav file and play it from Preview, wait untill it's finished and hit play again, directly after. Aft...

Re: xplorer2 v2.0

Hi Nikos,

In the beginning of this thread you announced:

dual registry/INI file settings

I was wondering, does this mean that (in future) no more registry entries are necessary for xplorer2 and the application is already portable?

Any idea when this becomes available?

Nikos, thanks for your pm. Finally I dumped Adobe Reader and installed Foxit and Foxit PDF Ifilter on my machine. Now, after a reboot, everything runs fine.
Next week I'll try on my workstation at work and see how that goes (other, more recents PDF files).

Nikos, I can confirm your stated problem. I've some PDF files at work I cannot find any word in with xplorer2, however, when opening the files, Acrobat or Foxit will find the words I'm searching on. I'll have to try and see on my own machines if the same problem occurs. The one at work is really fil...

The taskbar does switch here. The inactive pane is displayed between brackets Example: Two panes, pane 1 is focussed on C:\, pane 2 is focussed on D:\ When pane 1 is active, it's displayed in the taskbar as "xplorer2 - C:\ # [D:\]". When pane 2 is active, it's displayed in the taskbar as &...
