Toolbar - Label Size
Is there a way to display longer (more characters) text labels on the toolbar? http://i94.photobucket.com/albums/l100/graystrickland/Clipboard01_zpsb5bztphs.png My folder names are longer than what show on the toolbar. http://i94.photobucket.com/albums/l100/graystrickland/Clipboard02_zpsxgigi46r.png...

PDFXchange vs Acrobat
I have PDFXchange setup as my "default pdf handler" merely for how much better it makes xPlorer2 operate relative to PDFs. By doing this, the "Quick Viewer" feature in xPlorer2 is objectively better. However, I don't like to use PDFXplorer to actually view PDFs. For viewing PDFs,...

Re: Saving a work environment (combination of tabs)
I have written a simple batch file as follows: "C:\Program Files\zabkat\xplorer2\xplorer2_64.exe" /P AG_Equipment It works successfully to launch a new instance of xPlorer2 open to my chosen "folder group" (in this instance, to the folder group called "AG_Equipment"). I...

Re: Saving a work environment (combination of tabs)
you can use layouts to save tabs/folders but you do not want to launch them from the Window menu (or layout toolbar icon) because then the active folder in the current x2 window will be opened in the new window... what you need to do is create a user command or another shortcut which runs x2 like t...

Re: Saving a work environment (combination of tabs)
Use the slightly-misnomered command Customise -> Folder Groups -> Add Current to save groups of tabs, and to recall them by name via the same submenu at any time. See page 242 of the (slightly outdated yet still relevant) PDF Manual for more details. Also, if you launch x2 as separate instances, th...

Saving a work environment (combination of tabs)
Is there a way to save a combination of tabs? I am a construction project manager. At any time, I have 3 to 6 active projects for which I am responsible. For a single project, I like to have tabs for (1) drawings and plans, (2) specifications, (3) submittals, and more. xPlorer2 gets pretty congested...

Re: WDX and Lister Plugins - Consensus Favorite for PDFs?
Thanks for the link to your blog post. I have PDF xChange installed as my default PDF handler. After reading your blog post, I'm satisfied that I have the preferred setup.

WDX and Lister Plugins - Consensus Favorite for PDFs?
I'm interested in installing a plugin for PDFs. When I visit the TotalCMD.net website, there are many listed with PDF capabilities. Which is the consensus favorite (subjectively best) plugin for PDFs?

Re: Quick Viewer - Native PDF (PDF Xchange) - Default Zoom L
The limitations on Native viewing in Windows Explorer are the same as in xPlorer2 - or so that was my analysis. I'd hoped that maybe x2 had a tweak that Windows Explorer did not. However, now that I understand the relationship of xPlorer2 to Shell Extension, I'll follow-up with Tracker as you sugges...

Re: Quick Viewer - Native PDF (PDF Xchange) - Default Zoom L
>>> Draft mode would be a different story....
Are there settings for the Draft Mode? Can we change the default zoom level of Draft Mode? Or what point (eg. top left, top right, bottom left, bottom right...) it uses as its anchor if the chosen zoom won't display all?

Quick Viewer - Native PDF (PDF Xchange) - Default Zoom Level
PDF Xchange Viewer is my default viewer for PDF files. When I select a PDF in xPlorer2 Pro and open the Quick Viewer pane to Native View, it always shows the PDF zoomed for the width of the document (not the entire document). Is there a setting for the default view when you open a file in the Quick ...

Re: xPlorer Pro - Search Language
I've read the PDF from page 139 onward a few times; read Nikos's blog about search and browsed the Online Help, but I still can't find what I'm looking for: how can I find files whose basename contains one or more period? By basename, I refer to everything the filename except the extension and the p...

BRAVO! New (ver 3.x) Renaming Tool
My favorite feature added in ver. 3.x is the redesigned file renaming tool. The ability to replace all periods with spaces (or spaces with periods) in several filenames is very handy. I've been using an app called "Bulk Renamer" for this sort of stuff. I'm happy to have this onboard in xPl...
