Re: display Folders as files

this option is not part of folder settings, so the only solution to flip it would be to use a macro

Re: xplorer2 suggestion box

I once wrote a macro that found tabs by name, but I can't find it. I'll post it here later. I may add a "find tab" command for the next version here it is: just enter any part of the path that identifies the tab. Use CUSTOMIZE > MACROS > EDIT MACRO to paste it, and use SAVE button to give the macro ...

Re: Windows 10 intercepts too much

first do a sanity check, does xplorer2 open when you double click on a folder say, on your desktop?
do you have the latest xplorer2 version?
in general not all programs respect the folder association, some talk to windows explorer directly

Re: How to copy all files from many sub-folders?

you cannot do this with the free lite version, but with the professional version you can "browse flat" the entire folder hierarchy, then copy the files and paste them in a single folder. Note that files with the same name will cause a problem for more information see here www.zabkat.com/blog/10Aug08...

Re: xplorer² Cannot copy/move files to Synology NAS via UNC

there's no problem with robust paste, it works just like F5. If you need to use the windows explorer copy/paste you can do drag-drop

Re: xplorer² Cannot copy/move files to Synology NAS via UNC

thanks for the information, logs etc I can see how ctrl+c/V fails, but I don't want to change it. You can use F5 or drag-drop for the root folder. Alternatively, use TOOLS > ADVANCED OPTIONS menu and tick the option "Perform Edit > Paste robustly..." , then it will work too! I will release a bugfix ...

Re: xplorer² Cannot copy/move files to Synology NAS via UNC

is the problem just with root folders? Will xplorer2 paste in deeper subfolders in those UNC paths?

Re: xplorer² Cannot copy/move files to Synology NAS via UNC

I don't really know what to recommend as I don't have such a setup to test. Are you running xplorer2 normally or elevated (as administrator). Does it make any difference either way?
