xplorer2 in general warns if more than 10 "things" will be affected, and this applies to folder settings too

i mean outside x2, the actual desktop. Sometimes i can unselect, sometimes not! It can even cause x2 to hang!

see if it is dependent on how many items (if any) are selected on your windows DESKTOP

so you see the menu AND the message? this wasn't supposed to happen. There are lots of quirky things happening when x2 accesses the destkop process... I will send you a debug version

windiff is only meant for text. I will change the "photo" comparison for over-wide images so that it stacks them ...

I understand the need of "beauty" in our everyday lives, but take solace to the fact that total commander users feel the same way when comparing it with xplorer2 there's always something even tackier to make you feel better for your own misgivings!

I will add ESC key to get out of full screen mode, although ESC is used occasionally in xplorer2 for other purposes. Btw there are other ways of escape, e.g. turn on the tree or quickviewer

the skin was old, you could have mentioned it earlier. Anyway the installer includes the 48 skin and uses it if your system is huge dpi automatically

people who have problems with fonts etc are those with settings from ancient versions. If you install xplorer2 fresh it should be fine out of the box. Also using forced compatibility tweaks usually makes things even more unfathomable! Try this font reset script while xplorer2 isn't running:

or simply reinstall and leave all xplorer2 installer options intact

most probably the TIF has some "test" string in it either by fluke of the pixel bytes or some tag?

I think i fixed this problem, but try a search for text in files (content not filenames) with version 6.105 and let me know if there is any problem?
