Comparisons based only in the filename can already be done using the options in the 'Mark', 'selection' menu. For example, if I want to compare: Left file pane: C:\rirTemp\ToDo\SciTE_157\Langs (38 files) -and- Right file pane: C:\Dev\Apps\SciTE\Langs (43 files) Then what I do is as follows: * To sel...

Narayan is referring to the option 'Copy Names' (ALT+C), while simultaneous holding the 'Shift' key, it copy the short file names (8:3) to the clipboard.

By the way, both options (ALT+C & ALT+SHIFT+C) are working as expected in MS Windows 98 FE.

Filtering is done in the same way as 2xExplorer/xplorer2, just press {Control}+H or select the menu 'View' and then 'Visual Filter'.

Hope this helps

IMHO a better idea is to include the help file (2xExplorer.chm) in 2xExplorer package as it have links to the homepage and web-based forums. In that case the only menu entry that needs to be added is the standard "Help", "Contents...".

The registry key name:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\ZabaraKatranemia Plc\2xExplorer

Is added automatically by 2xExplorer, so try using:

"C:\Program Files\2xExplorer_Z1b\2xExplorer_Z1b.exe" c:\temp /s:OTHER

And see if that works (It works OK with 2xExplorer 1.3.1.12).

Hope this helps

To start 2xExplorer maximized in LiteStep what you need to do is to run a Windows shortcut (2xExplorer.lnk) instead of the exe file (2xExplorer.exe). In your case the steps needed are: 1.- Browse to your 2xExplorer folder, right-click on 2xExplorer.exe and select "Create shortcut". 2.- Ren...
