hi. This is related to the 64bit Xplorer2. (testing on Win7 ultimate 64bit) -When i hit the WinStart key + Tab instead of the taskbar showing it just shifts the pane focus from one to the other,  like when you hit Tab (maybe the cause is win7 , i don't know) - I hit shift+Enter to get to the address...

dunno if am understanding you correctly, but maybe you could use ctrl+F11, then F11 again as a workaround, whenever you need the selection.

the F5 & F6 works just fine for me.

I constantly hit the wrong one. Like 10 times a day, and I still can't get it right. My brain is just wired opposite to how they are setup.

if users posted suggestions here on what functions they would lfor the middle mouse buton it would help eg open/view a file etc.

personally i'd like the ability to set it to bring up the customize/manage dialogues for one as they don't have any shortcut key.

why not ?
after making it a user command, rt-click the toolbar & look for the name on the list on the left, then add it to your toolbar.

alternatively you could assign a shortcut key to it
