Nicos,
Although I am not as high level a user as the folks above, I agree.  I have discarded many programs over time for phoning home without permission; at the moment I am not willing to give up x2 for that reason,  but I don't like it either

No, actually I need to copy the filename easily, without the path.  Sorry for being less than clear.

Ninotech copy path

I recently was forced to buy a new system by a hardware failure, and am running W7, 64bit.  Ninotech Copy Path was very useful to me previously.  The program will not run on my new system, and their website apparently does not exist now, although there are several freeware sites where it can be down...

Overall the new site is an improvement; I have separate bookmarks for different pages of the current site; not ideal.  I agree that a different new slogan would be better. May I suggest some possibilities: "Organize and control your files and folders!" "Find and organize your files ea...

I agree with fgagnon marketing is more important so flashy new look is better, those of us in the "choir" can tolerate it. (For anyone who is not familiar with the reference, the saying is that when a minister in a church is preaching, and his only audience is the choir, who are presumably...

I would ask for links to the several pages to be more clear, for example blogs and all downloads, which I have separately bookmarked

If you use Revo Uninstaller http://www.revouninstaller.com/, you can use its detail view and list your programs in reverse install order, which is easier than keeping a log. However it does not deal with programs that don't install but still write to registry.

The ability to retain the folder view settings is the second most important feature of x2 for me (dual pane is the first).  Thanks again for your programming skill, and recognizing that your users want to do file handling their own way.

Clipboard manager

I use Yankee Clipper, which has both  freeware and shareware versions I incorporate some pieces of text repeatedly into Word documents in my work.  It keeps the last 200 items copied, plus allows for storing groups of items permanently called boilerplate.  I do not know, however, if it works under V...

Robert2 Apology for slightly off topic, but have you checked out: Green Pad (http://www.kmonos.net/lib/gp.en.html) JuJu Edit (http://www.jujusoft.com/software/edit/) for your other uses? If German is your native language these might not work well for you, since neither has many translations Best, Se...
