Re: Can you save the list of files you get when you search something?

Thanks a lot Sanferno, I didn't even know about .cida files, I'll try them!
Thanks Nikos. I currently have the pro, "eternal" version. I might consider the ultimate version in the future.

Can you save the list of files you get when you search something?

Hi. I do searches on my hard disks quite often. The most common ones are file types: *.whatever It often takes something like 3-5 minutes to complete the search. I get what I need, then shut the search window and it's all good. But then a few days later I need to find exactly that file type again. I...

Re: Context menu enhancer (compatible with xplorer2)

Thanks Nikos, Frizzlefry. Yes, I'd read about filemenu. I'll give it a try.

Context menu enhancer (compatible with xplorer2)

Hi there, I just tried moo's right menu clicker pro but realized that it's not compatible with Xplorer2. (http://www.moo0.com/?top=http://www.moo0.com/software/RightClicker/) On top of that, I had to rename C:\Windows\System32\ShellExtBridge\ShellExtBridge18.dll to ShellExtBridge.dll or else I kept ...

Re: Drive bar with breadcrumb info is gone. (+ date format)

Thanks FrizzleFry. (yes, I did mean the address bar rather than the drive bar!) Yes, when I right click on the drive bar, it does show as checked, but it I uncheck it, nothing happens, there's no change. It's like if the address bar was hiding somewhere and whether I tick it or not makes no differen...

Re: Drive bar with breadcrumb info is gone. (+ date format)

Thanks Nikos, Robert.

Regarding the “View | Toolbars > Address bar” nothing happens when I switch it on / off.

If you look at the picture below, where the arrow is, that's where I used to be able to copy the adress from. Nothing is shown now for some reason.

Drive bar with breadcrumb info is gone. (+ date format)

Had to reinstall windows on my computer becasue the latest W10 update went totally wrong (it suddenly stopped and said it couldn´t upgrade the system, but then nothing worked). So, the issue that I'm having is that there used to be a drive bar at the top with the breadcrumb info, BUT I could actuall...

loop mp3 files?

Is there a way to mark an mp3 file as repeat or something in xplorer2? For convenience, I normally use the file preview rather than open up an mp3 player. Another "feature" that I miss is to being able to play an mp3 file in the background whilst using the preview pane to check images, etc...

I didn't think the doc was so weird when I watched it here in Australia.

Re: Search: can I select directories?

Thanks Niko.
It could be a little cumbersome if I want to select a few directories... (or all except 1 or 2) so I`d like to make a suggestion for a future version: ability to use checkboxes to select which directories to search on.

Search: can I select directories?

I always forget to ask this: is there a way to select which directories I want to search on? :?: I'm using Xplorer2 pro, latest version. I'm pretty sure there is, as the program has some nice search options, it's just that it's not immediately obvious how to limit the search to the directories I want.

Re: Colour / color coding: Keywords??

Thanks Kilmatead, now I understand the point behind moving items up and down in the list, which I didn't quite get, I thought it was just there so as to order them manually (for example, alphabetically).

Re: Colour / color coding: Keywords??

Are you are using Window Explorer replacement? If so you need to exit x2 using File/Exit or Alt-X instead of just clicking on the upper-right X to exit x2 completely. Yes, I am. Nikos has suggested that I put the .reg file on my desktop. if you don't want to search for the REG file, just put it on ...

Colour / color coding: Keywords??

I'm a bit obsessed with using color coding for my files management. I'm currently using the "comments" field to add words like "urgent". Then I create a new entry in the customize color coding panel so that any file containing "urgent" in the comments field is displayed...
