Re: download flagged by malware bytes
In looking at other reports, they also ask for more details, so I'll get it installed on a browser here and test, and if it breaks reporting so I have the direct information that they will probably ask for.

Re: download flagged by malware bytes
Browser Guard operates more on IP addresses than sites, but if the OP agrees, I can use his screenshot. If not, I'll have to install it myself on a browser and verify if I am seeing the same, and if so, then I can make a report, though it would (probably) be (more) beneficial if the report came from...

Re: SizeES: A Plugin for Fast, Persistent FolderSizes in x2 via Everything Search
Naturally, I was referring to the end product, versus the effect the technology has upon the plight of man in general.
Because if that were truly a factor, then I suspect that I would not even be posting here, nor would many, many others of us here.

I did, though, in my lengthy examples of why parts of the X² UI are rather dated.
Plus, he contrasted addressbar (can't be vertical at all) with toolbars (can only be vertical along the edges).

Re: SizeES: A Plugin for Fast, Persistent FolderSizes in x2 via Everything Search
Hi minor grammar mistakes aside, it's funny how people were going off on trying to quantitatively assign mass to something that is, for all intents and purposes, energy. While my 'bitness' has definitely 'porkified' over the years, I take supreme solace in the fact that the storage media associated ...

I'm also there, and can tell them that it is indeed a FP, as I've be...

Re: xplorer2 v.5.50.13 beta
everything is possible but xplorer2 has a docking pane framework that doesn't allow toolbars in the middle, they must be on an edge. You can't have the addressbar vertical. Possibly normal button toolbars could be placed vertically, say on the left edge, but what would be the advantage? I doubt any...

Re: xplorer2 v.5.50.13 beta
Yeah, I know that too. But I do want access, and having them able to be hidden like sidebar elements, using the pin to show or die to a minimized element, would go a long way to recovering that space without having to write up a function to manually hide / show them using a macro of some sort. And t...

Re: xplorer2 v.5.50.13 beta
The fact that OC doesn't support any OS older than Win 10 is a non-started for me. I have laptops going back to Win 7 that are still being used for specific tasks, with absolutely no need to fix what ain't broken. Until then, discussing file managers is akin to discussing religion, with the faithfu...

Re: xplorer2 v.5.50.13 beta
you know that you can actually DRAG the toolbars and move them all in a single row, right? (you can also right click on the TOOLBAR and pick autoarrange from the menu) And if you try to combine the toolbars together to mitigate thee wasted space issue, it becomes a hot mess faster than you can blin...

Re: xplorer2 v.5.50.13 beta
Ok, great, but why does everyone who makes this claim (and all FM's do) think that the best place to start is by removing the menu-bar? I think that it is an extreme that a lot of apps simply cannot get away with. For FMs, though, I think this one gets away with it by offering the functionality rig...

Re: xplorer2 v.5.50.13 beta
TC is a plus in my book, for sure, and I am similarly tickled at the overkill aspect of it. I've considered disabling Robust CopyMove in X2, but I like it too much. And, since I only use it occasionally now, it is fun to still see it. As for Modern UI flabbergasting people, I understand - but X² sim...

Re: xplorer2 v.5.50.13 beta
I'm not gonna lie - I use OneCommander as my daily driver, but I keep X² handy because it does things that OC cannot, where OC does things that X² cannot. One thing is that OC cannot access connected 'devices' - like when I connect my phone and put it in File Transfer mode. X² does this natively, an...
