Hm, well... I switched to a different mouse and first impressions are that this seems to help. Maybe it was just a case of a cheapish mouse to eager to interpret single clicks as double clicks somehow (clicking through folders was also somewhat erratic). Over and out.

Might it have something to do with the doubleclick speed? Is double clicking a tab mapped to the close command (and if so, is it possible to change that in the options somewhere)?

I've been using xplorer2 pro with no problems on a desktop computer for years. Now I have a laptop and an annoying thing happens: often when I click on a tab to select it, it is interpreted as the command for closing that tab.
