from Lite to Pro

I have been using Lite version now I want to try the Pro version.

1) Should I remove the Lite version before installing Pro ?
2) If there's no need to remove Lite first and I install Pro - and later I decide to keep Pro version  --- can I just uninstall Lite ?

thanks

But I just discovered the issue exists when you have at least one forward slash in the path specification AND include the target filename at the end of the path.  (I originally took your example as path spec w/o target file.) b.t.w. - The issue exists in x2Pro as well.  :( yes, that's my complaint ...

hmmm, I created the folder structure I assume you have:       C:\mysandbox\data\dept_x\secret_script\top_secrets.sql and tried to confirm the mixed backslash issue on my XP box with x2Lite, including the trailing forward slash, but x2Lite recognizes the path with no problem. :D haha you didn't have...

in windows we do things with backslashes ;)... Oh REALLY ?! wow... :D But my point is why is it, that you/dev don't just convert "/" to "" in the path string. BTW, I should be more specific : I'm talking about FULL path: "C:\mysandbox\data/dept_x/secret_script/top_se...

Forward Slash in Path

It seems the app can not handle path containing "/" (in the path entry box)
i.e.: "C:\temp/somedir/copied/fromunix\matelotsfolder"

Is this a fact ?

Is there some reason the developer doesn't want to handle this ?

fgagnon, ok, thanks for the move.

Nikos, pleeeaaase fix this -
what I was trying to imply in my original post was that this is such an obvious "defect"  (imagine FireFox/IE loading the same site when you add a new tab....)

thanks
