Winrar just doesn't appear in the context menu with Winrar 6.10. But now having gone back to 6.02 which works I can't do any more checks at the moment, sorry. As for the extension I don't use compressed folders and already have your registry patch to disable them.... much prefer a separate program f...

Winrar recently released version 6.10 which includes changes to improve the right click context menus in Windows 11. It works in Windows File Explorer but in Xplorer2 Winrar is missing from the context menu. Reverted to Winrar v6.02 and it works fine.

Xplorer v5.1.03 64 bit on Windows 11 Pro.

I also use 1&1 for my email and yes, they do seem to get their servers on spam blacklists for some reason. It is true that extensions have been dropped which makes identifying files hard with X2 and for that matter Explorer... It is not quite as bad as you are making out as in Opera you can go to opera:cache which displays the files with both their cache names and the site where it was downloaded complet...

Nikos, I hear what you say. But surely you have a section of this forum lower down called 'General - talk about anything'. Why not put such things there rather than in a technical section.

Puzzled what on earth this has to do with x2/2X.......

(and also puzzled why you chaps find elections remotely interesting anyway....).
