.zip files open in xplorer² not my default app - why?
Running xp Pro v5.2.0.0 on Win 10 Pro. I have 7-Zip File Manager set as my default app for .zip files in Windows. But when I click on a .zip file in xp it always opens in xp - not the default app. Why? How do I force xp to use the Windows default app? Yes, I searched this forum for an answer but '.z...

Invalid "Your old license is expired" message !!
I upgraded my license on May 16, 2021 and have been happily running since that date - until today. My Win10 Pro system froze this morning so I rebooted. Now, when Xplorer2 starts - I'm getting a "Your old license has expired!" message! So, my license expired after 7 months of use? Not happ...

Re: Size column decimal places?
Yes! That's it! Thanks amigo.
Actually, I had seen 'Floating point digits' earlier but since "file" and/or "size" wasn't mentioned it just didn't register in my mind - my bad.
Good to go now.

Size column decimal places?
After I upgraded to v5.1.0.3 x64 I noticed that the size column now shows 3 decimal places for file size. Previously it was 2 decimal places. The problem is I can't find any way to change the decimal places desired - after perusing all x2 options. Surely, I'm missing something. Can someone enlighten...

Re: blog: backup or transfer your settings
Thanks for that tip! I would have never seen it!FrizzleFry wrote: ↑2018 Jan 08, 22:27 In Tools/Options/Window (tab) there is a check box for plain menus (bottom right) which reduces the commands available in the menus.

Re: blog: backup or transfer your settings
I'm running v3.5.0.2 Professional x64 on Windows 10 Home v1607. I'm not seeing 'Export settings' under 'Actions'. Is Actions -> Export settings now obsolete and no longer supported? Is there now some other method for exporting settings? Any assistance greatly appreciated. Thx, Rob https://s6.postimg...

Context manu copy path name
I swear there used to be a "copy path name" (or "Copy path to clipboard") in the context menu (right-click mouse on file name). However I'm not seeing that now with v3.5.0.2. Am I wrong? Maybe the "copy path name" was some other software? Anyone have an answer? Thx, Rob...

How to filter all video files on disk
I simply want to filter all video files on a disk including all video files in all folders and all subfolders. It seems that the filter feature only functions on the single folder level. Am I correct? If so, then what I want is not possible. Can someone enlighten me regarding this question? Thx, Rob

Copy/paste directory list
I simply want to copy/paste a directory list to a text file.
I have scoured the manual and this forum but see no way to do this!
Very simple request - what am I missing? There must be a way!
Thx, Rob

I use the foldersize service when monitoring size is important, as it caches the sizes once they are determined, so they don't need to be recalculated on each visit. And it can be turned on or off easily via Control Panel, so you can run it only when you want to. Thanks for the foldersize link! Exa...
